These Terms & Conditions apply to all tutoring services provided by Virtus Tutors. Please read them carefully before booking or attending sessions.

1. Services provided
Virtus Tutors provides private tutoring services for GCSE-level subjects, including but not limited to Maths, Science, and English. Sessions may be delivered online or in person, subject to availability and location.
2. Assessments & suitability
An initial assessment call may be conducted to determine the student’s current level, goals, and suitability for tutoring. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services if we believe tutoring is not appropriate or if expectations are unrealistic.
3. No guarantee of results
While we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, structured tutoring, academic results cannot be guaranteed. Progress depends on multiple factors including student engagement, effort, attendance, independent practice, and external circumstances beyond our control.
4. Payments
Payments are not taken through the website. Payment links or instructions will be sent prior to sessions and may include bank transfer or PayPal. Sessions must be paid for in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Cancellations & rescheduling
We require reasonable notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed sessions may be chargeable at our discretion. We aim to be fair and flexible where possible, particularly in genuine circumstances.
6. Online sessions
For online tutoring, a stable internet connection and appropriate device are required. We are not responsible for disruptions caused by technical issues outside our control.
7. In-person sessions
In-person tutoring is subject to location, travel considerations, and availability. Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring a suitable, safe learning environment.
8. Safeguarding & conduct
We expect respectful behaviour from students and parents at all times. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services if conduct is inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Virtus Tutors shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or outcomes arising from the use of our services, including academic results or exam performance.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
